As a FRIEND of harbour, you can be part of a progressive Christian church that values:

A commitment to seeking God, however understood, guided by the life and teachings of Jesus.

An appreciation that following Jesus leads us to act with kindness and compassion, since the way we behave towards others is the fullest expression of our faith.

A respect and humility towards scripture that pushes beyond overly simplistic and literal interpretations.

A commitment to justice and peace building in the midst of a troubled and divided society.

Embracing community that is fully and actively inclusive of all, whatever our sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, impairment, disability or social and community background.

A recognition that there are many ways to experience the sacred, and that we can draw on diverse sources of wisdom on our spiritual journeys.
